Student characters are at the heart of WoH.

Student Ages

Students characters are from age 11 to 17.  Ages connect to grades in the following manner:

First Years: 11 or 11 going on 12 depending on the birthdate you are choosing for your character.

Second Years: 12 or 12 going on 13 depending on the birthdate you are choosing for your character.

Third Years: 13 or 13 going on 14 depending on the birthdate you are choosing for your character.

Fourth Years: 14 or 14 going on 15 depending on the birthdate you are choosing for your character.

Fifth Years: 15 or 15 going on 16 depending on the birthdate you are choosing for your character.

Sixth Years: 16 or 16 going on 17 depending on the birthdate you are choosing for your character.

Seventh Years: 17 or 17 going on 18 depending on the birthdate you are choosing for your character.

Student characters have access to the castle, Hogsmeade and Diagon Alley.  When IC student characters cannot be in the Ministry area unescorted or in Godric's Hollow.

Special Abilities or Characteristics

If you wish your character to have special ability that is rare or out of the norm and a part of the HP universe contact Armen Bingyi or Vikkie Vuckovic from the New Member Ministry.  Because many abilities are rare in the HP universe we have had to put limits on them so they are ratioed to the population on the sim.  All special abilities must be approved.

Families

We have many families that rp entire story lines for several characters.  This can create dynamic and fun roleplay.  There are no problems with this please let us know who the members of the family are and how they relate to one another.  Also make sure that each family member connects their stories to the other members so that it makes sense.  This takes some coordinating but will avoid confusion.  If you are going to roleplay being related to another player please make sure that it is in your character sheet and that the NMM knows.
